UIM has been setup under the aegis of Sushila Devi Centre for Professional studies & Research . The late Smt. Sushila Devi , the reverend mother of the founder of the society was a simple lady with high values of life and dignity. She taught her children the lesson of honesty , integrity of character . she was  an embodiment of virtues of Indian womanhood. The Society which runs  a number of professional education centres is a tribute to late Smt. Sushila Devi .

UIM was established in June 2006 by a dedicated group of educationists and philanthropists to create management professionals who can dynamically explore the new avenues of entrepreneurial and management heights.
